During ongoing restrictions, Council meetings are limited. Parish Councillors have however been asked to consider and comment on a planning matter submitted to Hambleton District Council, as follows:
PLANNING APPLICATION:
31 Melltowns Green, Pickhill: Alterations & extension to existing dwelling and change of use of a parcel of land (215m2) from agricultural use to residential use.
Any comments on the application may be forwarded to the Parish Clerk by email, as below, by 21 July 2021, for the Parish Council to consider, before they respond to the Planning Office.

A message from RAF Leeming: RAF Leeming will soon be entering a period of exercise hosting, during which there will be additional jet and helicopter movement. The local community can expect increased flying from 20 August to 2 October - including some night flying. We understand that Exercises can cause disturbance to the local community, and endeavour to minimise low and late flying in particular.
