Swainby Lane - Floodwater
Following the recent heavy downpours some residents using Swainby Lane have been inconvenienced by the rainwater collecting in the dip where the railway once crossed. The Parish Council have been liaising with NYCC Highways and an engineer has attended today (Tuesday 2 February). If his attempts to clear this are not successful, then jetting equipment will be brought to the site on Friday 5th February.
The Parish Council will examine explore what can be done in the longer term to try and alleviate this issue.
Best Wishes and stay safe
Norma Grubb
Clerk to the Parish Council.
