Election of Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner - North Yorkshire


The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Election is taking place on Thursday 6 May 2021, this was due to be combined with the North Yorkshire County Council election but that has now been postponed till 2022, please follow the link for further information https://www.gov.uk/government/news/proposals-for-unitary-local-government-in-cumbria-north-yorkshire-and-somerset
 
Notices and nominations
Throughout the election process statutory notices are required to be published as follows: 

On Monday 15 March the Notice of Election will be published. Part of this notice is to inform prospective candidates where to get nomination packs from and where to return them once completed.
On Tuesday 27 April the formal Notice of Poll will be published.

Please be aware:  
• All polling stations will be following government guidelines regarding Covid
• Poll cards will be arriving from 18 March
• Last day for new registrations is midnight Monday 19 April
• Electors can request a postal vote – deadline date for applications 5pm Tuesday 20 April
